Let’s connect at XDS 2026 in Vancouver next month
On September 8-11, Logrus IT will participate in the External Development Summit (XDS), an annual invitation-only B2B event dedicated to outsourcing in the gaming industry.
As external development evolves, game localization concerns have changed from finding partners or dealing with large volumes to balancing neural workflows with a critical human touch, rigorous quality control, scalable pipelines, and nuanced linguistic QA. Leonid Glazychev, the Logrus IT CEO, will be at the Vancouver Convention Centre on September 8–11 to explain and support this paradigm shift, looking forward to heated but friendly discussions and deep dives on:

About the XDS Summit
This year XDS will bring together 900+ professionals from 55 countries. Attendees will discuss outsourcing software development, art creation, and full-cycle game localization, as well as the use of AI in these processes.
The summit is valued not only for its robust agenda but also for its open panel formats including Table-Topics, interactive workshops where the participants share expertise with peers and brainstorm solutions to common challenges. The XDS Connect app allows attendees to plan one-on-one meetings ahead of the event.
Attending XDS is not easy: the number of applications exceeds the number of available slots, and we are glad to have won the "supplier lottery" and be among the attendees once again this year.
If you're staying through the weekend to decompress, I would humbly suggest you rent a car, take the ferry from Vancouver (Tsawwassen) to Victoria (Swartz Bay) and then visit Butchart Gardens (a National Historic Site of Canada) with their incredible variety of landscapes, and also the Victoria waterfront and its famous floating homes. It’s a perfect place to wrap up your trip on an inspiring note.
Butchart Gardens are closer to the Victoria (Swartz Bay) ferry terminal than the city itself, so I would suggest driving to Victoria first. You can park, walk along the waterfront to the floating homes, and then drive to Butchart Gardens on your way back to the ferry. (It gets even better if you can stay the night in Victoria). Yes, it's a relatively long trip, but it's absolutely worth it (and more)!
Check all distances and also book your ride, tickets, and transportation in advance! I will be happy to provide practical advice - my wife and I have done it twice.
