Logrus IT at the Tokyo Game Show 2025

From September 25 to 28, Tokyo hosted the annual Tokyo Game Show—one of the world's biggest gaming events. Logrus IT team members Valentina Chernova and Anna Pronina toured the halls of the famous Makuhari Messe convention center, met developers from across the globe, and explored the latest industry trends.
This year's Tokyo Game Show set new records for participation. The exhibition featured 4,157 booths from 1,136 Japanese and international companies, as well as over 1,200 titles across all platforms—including esports, virtual reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR). A dedicated zone showcased business solutions designed to improve development, localization, and product promotion in the gaming industry.

The atmosphere was exceptionally friendly and upbeat, with developers eagerly showcasing projects, sharing plans, and discussing challenges. All 11 halls of the venue were packed with exhibitors and visitors from around the world. Official attendance reached 263,101 people. Crowds flocked to the massive booths of industry giants like Capcom, Square Enix, Konami, and Sony—complete with stage programs, cosplay, and gaming zones. Lines stretched from morning until closing time.
The show also featured a forum where developers unveiled new formats and bold approaches to game design. The Logrus IT team attended SENSE OF WONDER NIGHT 2025, where developers competed for the most daring game concept. Naturally, our colleagues also seized the opportunity to meet with Asian publishers and developers.
