As you can see, American companies take first place in terms of the number of games sold in Türkiye, with four American apps on the list. However, publishers from China take the lead in terms of revenue — two titles from China are the highest- and third-highest-grossing games on the list, earning their developer a combined total of $79.8 million.
In addition to foreign hits, the Turkish top ten also features a game from a local developer: 101 Yüzbir Okey Plus. However, the revenue from its 5.5 million downloads is lower than that of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, which earned its publishers $19 million with just 2.2 million downloads. This goes to show that an app’s revenue isn’t based on its number of downloads, but on how much money the average player spends on in-app purchases.
We should also point out that although there are only a few Turkish publishers on the list, they actively promote their apps in other countries, and Logrus IT is thrilled to be a part of it. Our specialists are currently hard at work localizing a number of Turkish projects. We’ve also opened an office in Izmir, Türkiye, in order to make working with Turkish publishers and developers as convenient and productive as possible.
