Melatonin: A Journey into the World of Dreams
A new project has been added to Logrus IT’s portfolio — our specialists have localized the rhythm game Melatonin from Canadian developer Half Asleep Games.
Melatonin is an exciting journey into the dream world of the main character, a teenager who dozes off in front of the TV. The game instantly hooks you with its minimalist graphics, purple and pink color scheme, and relaxing soundtrack. The story takes the player on a journey throughout the main character's dreams, performing various actions such as catching slices of pizza while riding a flying chair, fighting robot aliens from space, and practicing their batting skills on alarm clocks.
Like other rhythm games, the title’s main feature is that these actions must be performed in time to the music. Melatonin has a total of 20 levels broken up into five chapters, each with its own inimitable melody. The game also has a special editor that players can use to make their own custom levels.
Melatonin was released on December 15, 2022 and is now available on PC and Nintendo Switch. The title has already received lots of acclaim. According to Steam, 95% of players have given it a positive review.
Inspired by the game’s success, the developers at Half Asleep decided to localize Melatonin for other countries, and they turned to Logrus IT for help. Our specialists translated Melatonin into Simplified and Traditional Chinese, French, German, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese. We're confident that new players will enjoy the game and that Half Asleep will delight us with new releases in the future.
