Logrus IT at gamescom Asia 2024
From October 17 to 20, Singapore hosted gamescom Asia, one of the major annual events in the video game world. The event attracted over 40,000 visitors from 78 countries, including representatives from Logrus IT. Participants had the chance to explore the latest industry innovations, enjoy live shows, listen to expert talks, and network with potential partners.
There was also an entertainment zone open to all visitors, where they could not only learn about the hottest new releases in the gaming industry but also try some of them firsthand. Publishers and developers from various countries including Australia, China, Japan, South Korea, Spain, the USA showcased over 120 games in the demo zone, including S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, Street Fighter™ 6, and Monster Hunter Wilds™.
For industry professionals, the organizers provided a dedicated business zone and program, creating networking opportunities. In addition, over 80 experts shared insights on the latest trends in game design, innovative development techniques and software, and strategies for successfully entering the global market.
The gamescom Asia organizers paid special attention to indie developers, providing them with stands in both the general and business expo zones and hosting a pitch competition. In this competition, 55 independent developers vied for investor interest and awards in categories like “Best Presentation,” “Best Game Design,” and “Most Anticipated Game.”
