Game on, Origins!
Today another game from the Assassin's Creed series is coming out - already the eighth one we have localized up to date. This time the action takes place in the Hellenistic Egypt, where the main character Bayek faces a vast world with dozens of exotic locations, quests and opportunities for development.
Critics point out that compared to previous games in the series, Assassin's Creed Origins has a more elaborated storyline, thought-through logic and character power-leveling, as well as the biggest gaming world. And early next year, the developers promise to add an "educational" Discovery Tour mode to the game, which will allow you to explore locations and solve puzzles without running into conflicts.
Working on localization of the "Origins" was particularly interesting because of the unique atmosphere: all of these mummies, tombs, pyramids, galleys and priests in dog masks immediately made us feel the spirit of ancient Egypt. Of course, we had to dig out a lot of info in encyclopedias and textbooks on history, but the result was worth it!
