Digital Dragons 2018: Our impressions

This year for the first time, the Logrus IT team took part in the Digital Dragons exhibition in Krakow —the most important gaming event anywhere in Central Europe.

For businesses looking to enter the Polish market, Digital Dragons is the perfect launch pad. It’s a great place to network with local industry insiders and discuss cooperation on the spot. The exhibition is an accurate reflection of the general development trends in the gaming market, but unlike, say, DevGamm, mobile projects do not dominate the proceedings.

The event surpassed all our expectations: The organization was top class, and the participants could not be more passionate about what they do. We got face-to-face with lots of exciting, future-proof projects both from major developers like Techland, 11 bit studios, and CD Projekt RED, and from small companies such as All Blue Studio, Muha Games, Tale Multimedia, and others.

What’s more, Digital Dragons served up a series of talks from the creators of such games as Frostpunk, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and Divinity: Original Sin 2, to name just a few.

We gained a lot from the trip and will definitely be returning to Krakow next year!
